The Victorian Period 1837-1901

During this 6 week period, we will be exploring the Victorian period, sometimes referred to as the Victorian era, in England.  The Victorian period is known as a time of industrial progress, colonial expansion, and public fastid in morals. The Victorian period in the United States had many of the same characteristics.

Don't forget, we're taking a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts on May 5th. You won't need to bring a lunch, but you must have your permission slip signed and with you when you get on the bus.

Week Two's Assignment is due on Wednesday, May 11th.
